Recreational buggy ride

One of the most unreal entertainments in Tenerife! Our friends at Buggy Expedition Tenerife welcome families with children to this fun!

This is one of our greatest discoveries with children. We will not hide that we doubted whether the children would be interested, and I am not a big fan of such entertainment either. But the entertainment paid off in full. We came back bruised, tired, but full of adrenaline, excitement and happiness. We would repeat and repeat.

Fun with kids – our kids were 6 and 8 when we tried the buggies for the first time. Double buggies, with doors, safety belts. How fast you will drive and how extreme – you will practically choose yourself.

How to prepare: dress comfortably and in clothes that don’t get dirty, closed comfortable shoes are necessary, if you have it, take a scarf/muff (to protect against dust), sunscreen.

Karting club Tenerife

A professional track that even athletes choose. 1.2 km long, 8 meters wide.

There is a separate 250 m. safe track for children. There are children’s go-karts for children of all ages. Pony karts can be driven independently and more safely by children from 6 years of age. Larger and more powerful go-karts – children from 10 years old. There are also double go-karts where the parents drive and the child can sit next to them – the ride takes place on a small track. The course for adults is regarded by the father of our family as a rather serious course.

There is a cafe where you can buy both fast food and drinks. There is a possibility to celebrate a birthday (we were allowed to bring our own cake if other food is bought in the cafe). They also organize birthday races for children. There is a photographer during the days, great photos for memory.

You can watch the riders from the stands above the track which is really convenient and interesting.

Prices. Pony karting for children aged 6-9 – from 8.50 EUR, Cadete Junior karting for children aged 10-14 – from 13 EUR, Cadete Senior karting for teenagers aged 15-17 – from 15 EUR, Superkart Special karting for adults – from 23 EUR, CRG model for adults – from 28 eur. Double karting – from 17 euros. The ride takes 12 minutes.

We advise you to buy tickets in advance in places of entertainment on the site, this will save you 15%.

Karting Las Americas

The length of the track is 857 meters, the width is 8 meters. They also have double go-karts, so you can safely take smaller children (from 4 years old) on the track – you drive on a big track, maybe that’s why there are more thrills. Children also ride on the main track – there is no separate track for children. There is a cafe where you can grab a bite and buy drinks.

Prices. For adults – from 20 eur/10 min. From 15 eur/10 min for children from 7 to 13 years old. 25 eur ride in a double kart.

 

Bowling

Perhaps the only bowling alley in the south of the island is Las Americas. 10 bowling alleys with UV space lighting.

Tracks are ready for playing with children – you can ask to raise the sides so that the ball does not roll off the track. There is also a special holder for launching the ball.

Fully air-conditioned hall. Appetizer, drinks and cocktails.

Prices. One game for an adult – 7.50 eur, for children up to 12 years 6 eur. When you buy more games, the price decreases proportionally. Shoe rental – 1 euro.

Jet skiing

Meet your instructor at the port of San Miguel where the jet skis will be waiting for you. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment, including a life jacket, diving mask, goggles and a wetsuit. Take a short listen to how to drive safely, then hit the road!

See Yellow Mountain, Costa del Silencio Bay, Las Galletas, Punta Rasca Lighthouse, Palm Mar Rock, Los Cristianos and many more. Depending on the weather, explore different areas and watch for whales, dolphins, turtles and fish.

Driver must be at least 16 years of age (if under 18, written consent of parent or legal guardian is required). The passenger must be at least 5 years old and strong enough to support the driver.

Siam Park

One of the most fun entertainments in Tenerife is, of course, Siam Park. The largest water park in the Canary Islands and even in Europe. The park is open air.

The park is suitable for children of all ages – you will find several spaces for the smallest ones, and you will also find extremely extreme attractions. In the mood for all day fun!

Tandem paragliding flight

Try paragliding over Tenerife.

You will take off from a height of 700 meters and, flying with our experienced pilots, you will admire the natural beauty of Tenerife. You will be with an instructor at all times, so you can enjoy a safe and wonderful experience. Admire the magnificent panoramic views of the southern part of the island.

The flight takes between 15 and 20 minutes and you will usually land at Playa de la Enramada. However, depending on weather conditions, the pilot may decide to land at a different location.

Swim among tropical and subtropical fish and see species you won’t find anywhere else in the world. The excursion starts in Abades and travels to the protected marine area, a sheltered bay with calm water suitable for all swimmers. Unlike scuba diving, snorkeling does not require any certifications or training, and your guide will guide you every step of the way. Even older people and non-swimmers are encouraged to try this entertainment. Forestal park Tenerife

One of the largest climbing parks in the Canary Islands. It is located at an altitude of 1400 m, right next to Teide National Park and surrounded by pines and valleys of the Esperanza Forest. The park has 3 casket trails for children and 5 casket trails of varying difficulty for adults. Speaks English. Explains everything, trains.

Near the park there are many walking paths, natural areas and of course greenery.

There are local Spanish food restaurants nearby.

Prices.With a standard ticket (for adults and children over 12 years old) – 24 euros, for children (from 5 to 12 years old) – 19 euros, you can stay in the park for 3 hours. Each additional hour will cost 5 euros each.

We recommend you come with comfortable clothes and sports shoes (sandals or flip-flops are not suitable), because clouds can visit the park at any time and there is a high chance of slipping.
