Akropolis shopping center playground

A great playground for both younger and older children. Very tidy, only one minus is that the coating is small stones, so you need to protect the smallest ones.

Zirmunai street 20 and Juozas Luksa Daumantas Square sites

These two sites are located close to each other. In Juozas Luksa Daumantas Square – the site is distinguished by its two-seater trellises. Zirmunai street 20 is a small, but  a very fun playground for children of all ages.

Bernardinai garden playground

Since we visit the center often, this lot is one of our favorites. There are two playgrounds that are perfect for children of all ages. The park itself is perfect for walking and having fun with the family.

Rudininkai square parking lot

Although not very big or special – but we like it very much. There are even several cafes nearby, where you can watch children playing while sitting outside. Cafe tables right next to the playground.

Belmont Complex Playground

A very fun playground near Vilnelė. Girls will especially like it, because the playground itself is like a castle.

Riverside playground

A very fun place for both older and smaller children. Paupys itself is perfectly organized and is very suitable for both walks and family leisure.

Playground of the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center

A fun playground with children of all ages. The only downside – if you come with a car, it’s hard to find a place to park.

UNO park Lizdeikos street free playground

Although there is a fee for UNO park entertainment, there is a very fun free playground nearby that is sure to please the kids.

What to do with children in Vilnius – the most beautiful viewpoints and outcrops

Pavilniai Regional Park Viewpoint

A place known to few. Very nicely arranged, with a small children’s playground and basketball court, benches, gazebos, grill area and a very beautiful Vilnius panorama. Although the space is small, it has well-maintained tracks that are suitable for driving with a stroller.

Rokantiskiai castle observation deck

I would say the best place to watch trains in Vilnius with a great view. The surroundings of New Vilnius are also visible. Not far away is our favorite Strielciukai trail.

Subach observation deck

In the summer, there are dances here, and there is a cafe with wonderful ice cream and coffee. And the view of the old town of Vilnius is simply amazing.

Puckioriai viewpoint (highest in Lithuania)

It looks impressive both when viewed from above and from below. If you want to visit from above, it is not very convenient with a stroller, because the steps are quite steep. Below is Belmont’s educational trail, which is convenient for viewing the outcrop from above. The trail is wheelchair accessible.

Lazdynai cliff (second highest in Lithuania)

It offers a great panorama of Vingis Park and Neris.

Viewpoint of Verkiai Manor

A very nice place for a walk, and also a great panorama of Vilnius opens up from here with a particularly beautiful view of Valakampiai and Trinapolis Church.

Gariunai sight

Little is known to Vilnius residents, but it is definitely a place worth paying attention to. A great panorama opens with the Vilnius TV tower and residential areas. Very calm. You will often be alone here, as there are really few visitors.

Balsio viewer

From here there is a great view of the Green Lakes. A great place to remember fun summer swimming.

Vilnius TV Tower observation deck (paid)

The highest observation deck in Lithuania. All of Vilnius and its surroundings are in the palm of your hand. It is important to go only in good weather. Different times of the year offer very different views.

Gediminas castle tower

Probably one of the most visited tourist places in Lithuania. Wonderful views of Vilnius open up. Climbing the mountain is difficult, but the view makes up for it. To enter the tower itself, you need to buy a ticket.

St. John’s Church tower (paid)

The highest building in the old town of Vilnius, which you can climb. And when you get up, a wonderful panorama of Pilies street and the old town opens up. To get to the top, you have to climb 193 wooden steps. If you are with children – there is an elevator.

SKYBAR hotel Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva terrace (paid)

Probably the highest hotel in Vilnius with a great panorama that opens from the 22nd floor of Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva. It’s great fun to visit with the whole family. It’s fun to visit both in the light and in the dark.

Vilnius Cathedral bell tower (paid)

Another great place in Vilnius that you must visit at least once in your life. It is most fun to visit it during the festive period, when the Cathedral Square is festively decorated.

Viewpoint of Three Crosses Mountain

You have to climb a lot of steps, you can enter from two sides. However, after climbing the mountain, a great panorama of the city of Vilnius opens up, which really changes in different seasons. It is difficult with younger children – but it can be overcome.

Taurakalnis site

It’s a great place for a walk, and in winter it’s the best place in the city center for winter fun, because the ice-skating hill is amazing. You can also organize a fun picnic on the lawn or in the car, because the view from the mountain is simply great.
