Shopping in Poland: Brands

Action and TEDI

These are thrift stores, where you can find everything from household items to children’s toys. It has a very large selection of goods and accessories for children’s birthdays, home decor, handicrafts. It’s definitely worth a visit, because even if it looks like you don’t need anything, we guarantee you’ll find something for the kids.

Wear Medicine

This is a very stylish and inexpensive clothing store. We really like that the products are not expensive, but very high quality and original.

Bath and Body Works

This is a cosmetics brand from the USA. The shop is a bit like The body shop. Their stores are amazing and their smell is just wow. We highly recommend a visit, as you will definitely find something for yourself.

Victoria’s Secret

Everyone knows this brand for sure. In Poland, you can even find their physical stores in several places.

SKY

This is one of the best shops in Poland if you are looking for children’s goods. It is similar to Babycity in Lithuania. We highly recommend looking for the Smyk network outlet stores, where the goods are much cheaper than in regular stores. Here you will find everything from toys, strollers, children’s goods and clothes.

Tkmaxx

If you go abroad or to Poland for shopping, you definitely know the store Tkmaxx. This is a branded goods outlet, where goods are half the price of chain stores. And during sales, you can find real pearls for just a few euros. The closest store to Lithuania could be found in Bialystok. Currently, these stores are located all over Poland. You can buy branded goods there at a much cheaper price. And some larger stores also have Gold Label departments, which sell works by famous designers. Gold Label also includes Chloe, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, and Versace brands.

Half Price

Just recently, an almost identical Tkmaxx store Half price opened in Poland! And in my opinion, the product selection is even bigger and better than Tkmaxx.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, another store opened its doors on January 26. The store is called Suvalkai (Suwalki), and is very close to Lithuania.

The Best Shops and Shopping Centers in Suwalki

There are two larger shopping centers in Suwalki – Suwalki Plaza and Multishop Suwalki.

In Multishop Suwalki you’ll find Halfprice as well as budget clothing stores like Kik, Pepco, House, Cropp and more. There is also a Tedi shop for various inexpensive small items. There are also two large hardware stores here. Our favorite food store is called Biedrionka and a very large household goods store OBI are also located nearby.

Suwalki Plaza is a large shopping mall, which, in addition to shops, has many cafes, a children’s playroom and our favorite skating rink. Here you will find shops like H&M, Pandora, Medicine, Reserved. There is a very nice children’s store SMYK here. We highly recommend you to visit it, because you can definitely find great products at very good prices, especially during the sales.

The best shops and outlets in Bialystok (Bialystok)

There are two large shopping centers in Bialystok.

One of them is in the city center, near the main park and all the attractions. It’s in the Alfa shopping center. It has all the main and familiar stores (Reserved, H&M, Zara and others), many cafes and a cinema. There is also a large children’s store Kids world here.

A little further from the center is another large shopping center Atrium Biala. There are also many popular brand shops and cafes here. We are here for the Tkmaxx store. There are also several small mini-playgrounds for children in the corridors of the mall.

Outlet Center Bialystok is located on the outskirts of the city. It has several sporting goods, home goods, and clothing outlets. But what we love most is the SMYK children’s outlet. There is a lot of children’s clothes, sometimes even at ridiculous prices, toys with deep discounts and various goods for children. Nearby is a large hardware store Castorama (like our Depo or Senukai) and a very large furniture and household goods store Agata Meble.

The Best Outlet Stores and Shopping Centers in Warsaw

Warsaw is a true paradise of shops and shopping centers. About twenty years ago, when there was still a very small selection of stores in Lithuania, my parents and I used to go shopping in Warsaw. And now there are a lot of shopping centers here. However, shopping in Poland is cheaper than in Lithuania. Even if the shops and goods are the same as in Lithuania, everything is a little cheaper in Poland. Although the difference is sometimes small, buying more adds up to quite a bit of money.

Outlets in Warsaw

There are three large outlet stores in Warsaw – Designer Outlet Warszawa, Factory Ursus, and Factory Annopol.

Designer Outlet Warszawa is probably the biggest outlet. It belongs to the ROS Retail Outlet Shopping group, which also has outlets in Poland in Gdansk and Sosnoviec (near Krakow), but we will talk about them later. The outlet itself is very modern, set up like many outlets in Germany or the UK in the trailer of a small town. Here you will find Adidas, Armani, Boss, Calvin Klein, Furla, Guess, Lacoste, MaxMara, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and many other stores.

Factory Ursus and Factory Annopol is owned by the same owners. In these outlet stores you will also find many popular brand stores (Adidas, Calvin Klein, Guess, New Balance, Nike). Both Factory Ursus and Factory Annopol are very good children’s outlet SMYK. We also personally really like the sporting goods store Mountain Wharehouse. You can find children’s rainwear and jackets at very good prices.

Shopping Centers in Warsaw

There are many shopping centers in Warsaw. Many of them also have very similar stores. Therefore, I would recommend visiting where it is convenient for you (for example, when entering or leaving Warsaw, near a hotel or in a similar area).

I would single out and recommend Galeria Młociny, as it is the closest Primark store to Lithuania, as well as our favorite Tkmaxx. There are also plenty of spaces for children in the shopping center itself. Very convenient connection with the metro, which stops right at the door of the shopping center.

Coming From Lithuania and Other Shopping Centers

Coming from Lithuania on the main road S8, there is a large shopping complex before Warsaw. Shopping center M1 Marki, Ikea, shopping complex Homepark Targówek (there is a Tkmaxx store), and a little further, the shopping center Atrium Targówek with many clothing stores. It is very convenient both when arriving and leaving Warsaw, no need to wander around the city.

In the very center of the city is the Złote Tarasy shopping center. It is located right next to the bus station and the main symbol of Warsaw – the Palace of Culture and Science. On the other side of the Złote Tarasy shopping center and the Palace of Culture and Science, Marszałkowska street has many shops (Zara, Half price, Reserved, C&A).

Arkadia shopping center is one of the largest shopping centers not only in Warsaw, but also in Poland itself with 240 stores. Belongs to the international chain of Westfield shopping centers.

Galeria Mokotów

Another large and popular shopping center – Galeria Mokotów. Very convenient location, near the center. We would definitely recommend a visit if you live in the Mokotów area, which by the way has a very large selection of hotels and apartments. And it is very convenient to live here, because it is close to the center.

Another popular shopping center Blue City is located a little further from the center. It’s very modern and stylish and has many shops, cafes. But the most fun part of this trade is for children, although we guarantee it will be interesting for adults as well – it’s the exhibition of 14650 LEGO figures. Also the FunClimb climbing room. Climbing the walls is an unreal entertainment (but the walls are not ordinary, but the most diverse, such as have not been seen anywhere in Lithuania). There is also a very nice children’s playroom called Inca play.

Outlets All Over Poland

There are quite a few outlet stores all over Poland. Their prices are really good, and the selection is really good.

Fashion House in Gdańsk

This fashion house belongs to the same chain as Designer Outlet Warszawa in Warsaw. The largest outlet town in northern Poland. Here you will find more than 100 different shops. We definitely recommend a visit if you are visiting or on holiday in the Polish seaside.

The Poznań Factory Outlet Center

Belongs to the same chain as Factory Ursus and Factory Annopol outlets in Warsaw. Here you will find our favorite children’s store Smyk, as well as Benetton, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Regatta and many more.

Wroclaw Factory Outlet

Outlet of the same chain as Factory Ursus and Factory Annopol in Warsaw and Factory Outlet Center in Poznań. Here you will find Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Benetton, Coccodrillo, 4F, Adidas, Nike, Puma and many other brands.

Ptak Outlet in Lodz

The Ptak outlet is located just outside Lodz, very close to Mandoria, the largest indoor amusement park in Poland and Europe. So if you are traveling with children to have fun, we highly recommend visiting here. Here you will find Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Reebok, Regatta, Adidas and many other stores. Ptak outlet, amusement park Mandoria is one big complex, which also has large Chinese bases.

Krakow Factory Outlet and Fashion House Sosnowiec

These are two outlets located in southern Poland. Fashion House Sosnowiec is located near Katowice, but if you are in southern Poland or visiting the Energylandia amusement park with children, we highly recommend a visit.

Specialized Purchases

When we are in Poland, we always visit the pharmacy. Here the prices are significantly different from Lithuania and you can buy some medications half as cheap as in Lithuania. Prescriptions issued in Lithuania are also valid in Polish pharmacies. However, you need to have them in paper form. We like Apteka Gemini the most. As far as we have shopped here, the prices are usually the best.

If you are looking for furniture, we recommend Agata Meble chain stores. For household or construction goods, Obi or Castorama stores are the equivalent of our Senukas or Depo.

Vynoteka shop is also on the Lithuanian-Polish border. Here you will find meat and grocery products at really good prices.
