TOP5 Water Parks and SPAs in Tenerife

Siam Water Park

The largest water park in the Canary Islands and even in Europe. The park is open air. The park is reminiscent of Thailand – all decorations, plants, names of attractions are carefully considered. The park was opened by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand herself. For several years, this water park has been recognized as the best park in the world on the Tripadvisor website! Siam Park is located in the southern part of the island of Tenerife.

The park is neat and well maintained. More than 20 attractions, several separate areas for the little ones. Children are given free vests for safety. Great restaurants to eat – not only fast food, but also buffet-type restaurants, where you can get both stewed, vegetarian and other food.

Tips for Preparing for Siam Water Park

Get to the park as early as possible after opening. If you want to visit all the attractions without hassle, keep in mind that the park is especially busy during the season, you have to stand in line at the more interesting attractions. Choose the sunniest and warmest day possible. I would advise children to have wetsuits, and if you don’t have them, you can rent them in the park itself. When you spend your time actively, you won’t walk around with a lot of things – take as little as possible, and be sure to lock what you have in a secure locker. Bring your own water, fruit and snacks.

Siam Park Prices and Where to Buy Tickets

Entrance prices range from 40 eur for adults, from 28 eur for children from 3 to 11 years old, and entrance for children under 2 years old is free.

Buy tickets in advance to avoid queues at the ticket office.

Siam Park tickets in advance can be found here: Siam Park tickets at the best price.

BUT WAIT! If you plan to visit LORO Park as well – buy a TWIN ticket, it will be cheaper. We will reveal the secret that when buying the TWIN ticket in our partner system, children up to and including 5 years old of age get a change to go to both parks for free!

Aqualand water park

Another water park in Tenerife that offers a lot of water fun for children and adults. The park also hosts dolphin shows, which are included in the price of the visit. The park is located in the southern part of the island of Tenerife.

The price is lower than Siam Park. We really like the children’s play area in this park, where slightly older children can go down the roller coaster independently and safely. However, the park is older – its infrastructure is also older. Smaller selection of catering establishments – more fast food, food is quite expensive. You have to pay extra for sunbeds.

Choose as sunny and warm a day as possible. Bring your own water, fruit and snacks. It is more comfortable to walk in the park with water shoes.

Aqualand Water Park – Prices

Prices range from 28 euros for adults, from 20 euros for 5 to 10 years old children, from 12.50 euros if your kid is from 3 to 4 years old, and the entrance is free for children up to 2 years of age.

Lago Martianez Natural Pool Park

Lago Martianez is an outdoor pool complex located in Puerto de la Cruz. The leisure park, with a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters, is centered around an artificial lake. Lago Martianez, with unparalleled views of the sea and Mount Teide, is a large man-made lake surrounded by emerald pools, gardens, terraces and restaurants. The park was designed in the mid-1970s by the famous local artist César Manrique from Lanzarote, who created the complex using elements of traditional Canarian architecture and local flora. The complex has three pools for children.

It’s a great park for a relaxing break, perhaps even more suitable with babies. After all, water parks with attractions “require” active recreation and one of the parents still has to stay with smaller children – and there is no need to rush in this one. The price for such a vacation is very attractive. You can buy drinks and snacks in the area. Older children may find it a bit boring. The northern part of the island can also be a disadvantage for entertainment in the winter season.

Prices – 5.50 eur for adults, 3 eur for children up to 10 years old.

This is the work of Cesar Manrique, a famous artist from Lanzarote.

The park has 3 salt water pools. There are also restaurants, shops, changing rooms, games rooms, showers and a gym. Hammocks and umbrellas are available for rent. It is an ideal place for both tourists and family leisure and recreation.
