The Energy Discovery Center

Energy Discovery Center. The 100-year-old power station and modern science center in the center of Tallinn is full of lightning. Energy Discovery Center houses unique Northern European lightning shows, static electricity demonstrations, more than 100 hands-on exhibits and planetarium screenings are held every day.

Energy Discovery Center: learn about electricity, light and sound and have fun with a variety of physical phenomena.

All instructions about the exhibits are available in English, Finnish and Russian and Estonian. The planetarium shows films narrated in all four languages. Daily lightning and static demonstrations are held in Estonian, Russian and English.

The center is a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Tallinn and about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town Harbour. Look for the big yellow building!
