From Chinese cuisine to Thai food, Japanese sushi and Vietnamese cuisine, this guide to Asian cuisine restaurants in Tenerife will help you discover the many flavors and cuisines of Asia. We’ve been to all sorts of places, from cozy family restaurants to upmarket fine dine or Michelin-starred restaurants. We only share with you the places we’ve tried and only the ones we recommend.

Thai Botanico Restaurant Las Americas

We love going to Thai Botanico Restaurant Las Americas. We love the summer rolls, Thai soups and of course the green papaya salad. And you can also try the Thai-style mussels here.

The Venture group restaurants have good service, English-speaking staff and, in the evening, you can also enjoy a show of dancing fountains.

Deba sushi Adeje

A restaurant with surprising food quality and service. The location may not be very romantic, but the food is really good and of high quality.

By the way, we discovered this restaurant because they do home deliveries and the delivery was prompt and the food kept its shape.

Amore sushi restaurant Las Americas

Like Deba sushi, this one doesn’t have a spectacular image, but the food is very good and we like the choice.

Restaurant 88 La Caleta

Asian cuisine is also represented at the excellent Restaurant 88, which offers Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine. With a beautiful view, modern cuisine and a very friendly attitude, this restaurant from the Venture Group will take care of our children’s requests.

Downtown Sushi Playa Paraiso

The sushi belt bar was the most impressive thing for our kids – the sushi menu on the go. We adults, meanwhile, preferred the gourmet sushi on the menu and had the most delicious sushi we’ve ever tasted here – with angus meat and truffles.

But Playa Paraiso is a great place to watch the sunset, so we recommend going for dinner and enjoying a beautiful sunset. By the way, there are a few other Japanese restaurants nearby, but we tried the one next door, which is much more expensive and definitely not worth it compared to this one.

Kyomu restaurant Las Americas

Asian cuisine restaurant. It offers Vietnamese, Japanese and Indonesian cuisine. The impressive interior is just like the other Amazonia restaurants, which are all nestled together in the Oasis Shopping Centre Las Americas.

The food is served very nicely and the service is very good. And some of the dishes you won’t find in the other restaurants.

Kiki restaurant Santa Cruz

Japanese restaurant at the Urban Anaga Hotel in Santa Cruz, listed in the Michelin Guide to recommended restaurants in Tenerife.

It is an expensive restaurant, but the sushi is exceptional, combined with the flavours of foie gras, truffles and oysters. Reservations are essential and well in advance.

Vietnamese masterpiece Las Americas Banh Noi Thai Viet Food

We are eternally grateful to our friends who recommended this family restaurant in the middle of the tourist bustle. Incredible different fresh flavors, warm hosts and big queues. But worth every minute, and the freshness and originality is incredible.

Try the dishes marked as stars on the menu – you won’t go wrong.

Yum Yum Thai restaurant in Adeje

Authentic Thai restaurant, nice service, good food, although the restaurant is in the Duke shopping Centre.

Chinese buffet (China Town) Las Chafiras

Really nothing special in terms of the dishes, but very good value for money if you want a good Chinese menu. You pay one flat fee and eat as much as you want. Children under 8 years old get a special, much lower, price. You can choose whatever dishes you want and as much as you want, even the whole menu – the dishes are not in large portions, so you can have a really wide variety of dishes. Drinks are priced separately.

Orient WOK buffet Santa Cruz

Asian cuisine buffet at the Meridiano Shopping Centre in Santa Cruz. Very large selection. You pay and eat as much as you like – soft drinks and beer included. We love the seafood and fresh meat bar, where the food is cooked fresh, right there.

Mr Chen Asian Adeje

A restaurant with the option to cook your own food. We first tried this kind of cooking in Paris many years ago in a small restaurant. We loved it so much that we wanted to show it to our children, not only as a restaurant but also as an attraction. The restaurant is just off the motorway, it doesn’t have a particular look or interior, but it does have tables with boilerplates. And in this restaurant, in addition to the cooking menu, soup pots are also included. Our children especially liked the soups.

Arirang Las Chafiras Korean restaurant

A new, recently opened Korean restaurant with self-service or barbecue service, where you can cook your own meat.

What we particularly liked is that the restaurant has a playroom for children and a climbing wall.

Family XIN YUAN El Medano

Asian cuisine family restaurant. It’s a family, freshly prepared restaurant, so be prepared to linger longer. But it’s worth it, because you’ll get to sample some really different authentic dishes made from family recipes.

MRS MIYAGI’S restaurant in Adeje

We’re fans of the Venture group, which is why we love this Chinese restaurant. There are already two restaurants with this name, and we visit the one in the X-SUR shopping Centre.

Santo Chihuaha El Medano

A mix of modern Japanese and other Asian cuisines. Spectacular exclusive interior with direct ocean views.

Chinese cuisine at La Tejita Shopping Centre

A family restaurant that has survived the Covid era and other economic changes. Everything is cooked from the heart, and you can taste both Chinese and Thai cuisine.

The Oriental Hotel Botanico Puerto de la Cruz

The Oriental Asian restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz The Oriental Hotel Botanico.

We boldly rate it 10 points, everything was very fresh, fresh and delicious. Maybe only the green papaya salad lacked spiciness, but everything else was just wonderful. A separate person in the restaurant advised us on the wine – the one we were offered went perfectly with all the dishes.

Reservations are a must.

Krua Thai restaurant in Santa Cruz

Family estaurant, small in the center of Santa Cruz. Authentic Thai cuisine.

Fujiyama restaurant in Santa Cruz

Conveniently located in the city center, this restaurant has plenty of seating. We love the food and the service.

Bombay Babu Indian restaurant

There are restaurants in La Tejita, the Duke Shops in Adeje Shopping Centre and several other places. One of the most popular Indian restaurants with a wide choice. We like that the different flavors of curries are really different and colorful, rather than the one color and flavor you find in some places. There is also a large selection of grill dishes.
