The Farm of Tuomai

The Tuoma Farm invites everyone to come and get to know the animals up close, pet them, feed them, and enjoy their company. Sheep, goats, charming alpacas, ponies, rabbits, ducks, turkeys and chickens are raised on the farm.

Edita and Gražvydas (the family of Tuomai) founded an exceptional farm in their grandparents’ homestead. In it, guests of the homestead can not only get to know various animals, but also capture family photos.

Edita and Gražvydas say: “We are two townspeople who have exchanged a comfortable city life for the countryside. If someone had told us earlier that we would live in the village and still have a farm, we would not have believed it, but we moved to the village during the quarantine completely unplanned.”

At the farm, you can buy woolen yarn (100% sheep’s wool), twisted into balls. Also socks for babies made of alpaca wool yarn. Alpaca’s wool is very warm, many times warmer than sheep wool. Alpaca wool is soft and does not “bite” like sheep’s wool, and it also does not contain the lanolin characteristic of sheep’s wool, so alpaca wool does not have a specific smell and is suitable for people with allergies.

You can also buy quality food products grown and harvested on the farm – berries, eggs or quality meat.

Important: the farm does not have a well-kept environment or a cobbled path, so don’t forget suitable shoes and clothing that won’t be a shame to get dirty. It is forbidden to come with puppies!
