The sanatorium is adapted to the health and recreation of children and families
On the territory of the sanatorium there is a basketball court, outdoor exercise equipment, and a children’s playground. The territory has outdoor chess, fitness equipment, basketball and volleyball courts.
The sanatorium features a table tennis hall, as well as table football and air hockey tables. Cozy recreation areas have been set up for children and teenagers, offering a variety of activities and classes.
All calendar holidays are celebrated in the sanatorium, various activities and events are organized.

Children who undergo longer treatment are provided with opportunities to continue their education and keep up with their curriculum. They can pursue their studies at the Palanga Sanatorium School. The school offers preschool, primary, basic and secondary education programs. Lessons are conducted in person in separate classrooms. The main goal of the school is to ensure continuous education for sick children. The school community actively participates in various projects and educational activities.
