1. Tuomai farm (Ukmerge district)

Tuomai farm invites everyone to come and get to know the animals better, pet them, feed them and enjoy their company. The farm is home to sheep, goats, adorable alpacas, ponies, rabbits, ducks, turkeys and chickens.

Tuomai farm also hosts birthday and other celebrations.

You can buy woollen yarn (100% sheep’s wool) spun into balls. Also baby socks made from alpaca wool yarn. You can also buy quality farm-grown and sourced food such as berries, eggs or quality meat.

2. Animals park Debesų ganykla (Vilnius district)

A young farm in the village of Dasioniai, Vilnius district. The farm currently has 4 horses – two horses and two ponies – and 2 rabbits. The owners plan to expand and have more animals in the future, but as they say: “our goal is not quantity, but quality conditions for the animals – our pets have wide spaces that give them freedom of movement and choice.”

The farm’s spaces also include a 24 square metre pergola with swings, a fire pit, a drawing board with crayons, a balance path through the swamp, a sandy beach and a peat bog.

We are currently welcoming guests to celebrate their holidays or to come for a picnic in the countryside, as well as organising summer camps for children.

3. Rancho Pancho (in Vilnius district)

Rancho Pancho is a fantastic new place in Vilnius District! A cowboy town like in Western movies! Education about Indian culture, gazebos, alpacas, entertainment, birthday parties!

Rancho Pancho Village organises educational programmes for children of all ages, teenagers and adults, groups and individual visitors, families. The programme includes information about life in the Wild West, cowboy and Indian traditions. During the educational programme you will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Indians, their way of life, their weapons and their traditional games and cultic customs.

You will see traditional Indian dwellings such as Tipi, Wigwam and Hogan. You will see an exhibition of Indian daily life and have the opportunity to try out traditional Indian games such as archery, bow throwing on bison horns, the Shoshone balance test, etc. At the end of the educational programme, you will meet exotic alpacas.

5. Zoopark Vilnius (Vilnius)

An incredible place that will appeal to children of all ages, and adults too will not be left indifferent. Most importantly, you can visit it in any weather. There are more than 80 species of animals here: you’ll see the lemur family, South American jungle monkeys, meerkats, and many other animals from all over the world! Highly recommended. And the fun part is that you can pet and feed the animals.

6. KEMK stud farm (Vilnius district)

Mickunai Equestrian Club KEMK horses is a small stud farm where you will be welcomed in a cosy environment, without any of the hustle and bustle of the big stud farms.

Riding lessons and group classes are available. The stable has a riding field with obstacles, a cosy stable to keep out the weather, and beautiful woods around the stable with a perfect ground for the hooves of the horses.

Every summer, educational camps with horses are organised.

7. Horse Village “Raudoni vakarai” (Vilnius district)

Raudoni Vakarai is a place just outside Vilnius, but it seems far away from any big city. Surrounded by forests, meadows and a river, it is a space that is reminiscent of the countryside, not only in its surroundings, but also in its ideas – when everything is simple, cosy and warm.

The Horse Village not only teaches how to ride and care for these animals, but also organises nature hikes. Raudoni vakarai is not just a horse farm. It is a place where good people gather.

8. Valley of the Horses (Vilnius district)

This is a rehabilitation space for the injured and rejected by their owners. Here you can come with your children to visit the horses, get to know them, feed them and pet them. Arrangements must be made in advance.

9. Azumiske II (Svencionys district)

There is very little information about this site on the internet. It is a hamlet in the municipality of Svencionys district. There are many fallow deer grazing in large enclosures, which you can feel free to feed and chat with. 20. Homestead “Vilko daina” (Jonava district)

The homestead “Vilko daina” is currently home to five Siberian Huskies, two of them with very bad stories, rescued shelter puppies who have been rehabilitated and are living the dream life. Also a Samoyed and two Griffons. Two elderly owls who cannot live in the wild and have been looking for homes. And a cat, a mouse and a cockroach. The owners say: “Every now and then someone moves in and someone moves out…”

The farmhouse organises birthday parties and various educational activities. There are also summer camps for children.

21. Holiday resort ranch “Myliu kaima” (Kaisiadorys district)

In the forest recreation centre – ranch, children have the opportunity to interact with a variety of friendly animals, ride a horse or pony, play in a large meadow with goats, pet rabbits, pet chickens, play outdoor games, swing on a swing set, and stretch their legs on the barefoot track. 22. Alpacas of Jonava (Jonava district)

25. V. and V. Zivatkauskas Farm (Kedainiai district)

Natural meadows are one of the greatest natural values of Central Lithuania. To preserve this beauty, Vilma and Valdas have employed cows: a herd of beef cattle grazes these natural meadows, cleanly harvests the meadows, protects them from encroachment (what the cows cannot do, they cut down with their hands), and reliably rescues the Nevezis Valley. Zivatkauskas’ farm was listed as the 11th Lithuanian farm in the Baltic Environment Forum’s list of “Other Farms”. The farm provides education.

27. Sunskai Pheasantry (Marijampole district)

This is the only place in Lithuania where you can get acquainted with different subspecies of the pheasant bird family. We have no doubt that many children have never seen such a bird.

28. Oak Villa (Kazlu Ruda district)

Oak Villa is a very cosy and small family farm. Its owners fled to the countryside just a few years ago. Here you will find a variety of birds, animals and a homestead that simply radiates cosiness and peace. A perfect place for photo shoots.

29. Hedgehog School (Sakiai district)

A farm for stubborn and mischievous goats, where children can pet, feed and befriend them. The farm also has other domestic animals.

30. Kristiano’s alpacas (Kazla ruda)

A very fun place to meet and make friends with cute alpacas. Important – the animals can only be fed on food provided by their owners, you cannot bring your own food.

Labirintintou Park is one of our favourite amusement parks in Lithuania. Not only is it full of various attractions and activities for the whole family, but there is also a small animal farm. The park and the animal farm are only open in high season.

39. Educational Farm “Anukis” (Anyksciai)

Here you and your children will feel like you are in the countryside: you will be able to see, feed and pet sheep, goats, cows, horses, various birds, and enter the rabbit enclosure. There are also a wide range of activities. There are also opportunities to celebrate various festivals. It is only one kilometre from Anyksciai.

40. Stud farm “Lape valley AVM” (Zarasai district)

A place in Aukstaitija National Park where you can see a wide variety of birds. Very interesting educational programmes are available.

44. Safari Park (Anyksciai District)

This 50-hectare park of hills, forests and swamps is home to more than 150 animals – a herd of fallow deer grazing freely, black African ostriches roaming, Highland hornbills quietly munching the grass, and llamas, donkeys, alpacas and mouflon frolicking. You can see the animal world up close and unencumbered, as if they were in the wild. You can only visit the park if you drive a park SUV, so a driving licence is required.

45. Horse Museum (Anyksciai)

This is the only museum of its kind in the Baltic States. It’s all about horses – Lithuanian horse breeds, agricultural tools. The museum is housed in an authentic early 20th century granary and various ancient buildings. You can learn about the tradition of baking black rye bread and bake it yourself. In and around the museum, you will have the opportunity to learn about folk crafts, go horse-drawn carriage rides and play old Lithuanian games.

46. Alanta horses (Moletai district)

The organic equine farm is home to a family of Old Lowland ponies and small Shetland ponies, as well as black Angus cattle. There is a swing and an outdoor trampoline for young guests. The little Shetland ponies can be petted and given bread.

Margas ponis – first of all, it’s a picturesque environment with lots of animals and a great, interesting, beautifully adapted infrastructure of a modern village. And the second reason is the owners themselves! So warm and friendly that you feel you have known them all your life. It is immediately clear that people are living their dream here and enjoying it every day because, despite the many hard jobs on the farm, they are always developing, improving and coming up with creative and fun innovations.

When you visit “Margas Ponis” you will be surprised how much there is here – 6 horses, 4 ponies, farm poultry of all breeds, small goats and rabbits of indescribable affection. They all have names and they are all part of a big, close-knit family.

49. Dargaiciai zoo (Siauliai district)

The history of Dargaiciai Zoo began with the breeding of alpacas. However, nowadays you can see alpacas, llamas, camels, donkeys, ostriches, ponies, rabbits, mini Dutch goats, sheep and other animals. The fun part is that you can pet and feed all these animals. And then there’s the many attractions that await you at the zoo.

50. The zoo “Raiba Plunksna” (Siauliai district)

59. Panevezys Alpaca Farm (Panevezys District)

The Panevezys Alpaca Farm is a great place for young and old to spend a fun weekend in nature and get to know how alpacas live. Alpacas are very gentle, curious and cuddly therapy animals. Interacting with them gives you a lot of good emotions. The alpacas living here are used to interacting with people and will allow themselves to be petted. It is recommended to call in advance.

60. Janina’s snail farm (Panevezys district)

Janina Kristaponiene has been an enthusiastic snail farmer for ten years. She farms Helix Aspersa Maxima snails, sells snails and small snails, hosts excursions, organises educational programmes from the cultivation of snails to their preparation for consumption.

Janina’s snail farm is very popular with children, as little explorers of the world find a whole kingdom of snails – even the pebbles are turned into snails.

61. Kristina and Juris Milisiunai Sheep Farm (Birzai district)

We guarantee you and your children will be impressed – this farm has 800 sheep of different breeds. Would you have thought there were so many. And here you can get to know them up close and have a great time with your children. One of the five yurts houses a sheep exhibit with over 1000 exhibits. In a farmhouse surrounded by natural meadows, forests and wetlands in the Zemaitija National Park, you will have the opportunity to spend time with farm animals, petting, loving, feeding and walking with goats in the wilderness.

76. Zverincius (Telsiai district)

A place set up by foresters to educate the public about the life of wild animals. Surrounded by nature, from the comfort of a comfortable platform you can observe the lives of the great apes, lynx and bison. There are also a petting zoo and a Taipane, and for the more patient, you can admire deer, fallow deer and mouflons. There is a playground for children.

77. Pavirvyte Manor (Mazeikiai district)

Young visitors to the manor have a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the manor’s unusual Scottish Highland cows and other farm animals.

78. Seda Stud Farm (Mazeikiai district)

Here you can spend time with your family and friends riding and taking photos with the horses. If you go out into nature, you can meet wild animals and birds and admire the Samogitian landscape.

79. Radailiai Dino Park Zoo (Klaipeda District)

This park is a children’s paradise. Although the animal park is not large, children will love it – they can go into the animal enclosures, pet the animals and relax after all the active entertainment. We highly recommend this park.

80. HBH menagerie (Zibininkai)

Over 40 species of domestic animals and birds roam and fly freely in 2,5 acres of forest. Children will be greeted by chickens, ducks, geese, split-tailed rabbits, llamas, donkeys, goats, sheep, and all kinds of other pets, which you can get to know better, walk with, take photos with, or even feed.

Visit the HBH “Wetland Trail”, where you can enjoy nature, listen to the birds or even pick berries and mushrooms along the forest path!

Visit the Sculpture Park – enjoy the sculptures hidden among the trees on the “Health and Sponges Trail”.

To keep the little ones entertained, there are fun and active children’s playgrounds both inside and outside.

Enjoy the adventure park “Lusies takas”. And there are many other active activities such as pony rides and archery.

And of course, if you’re hungry, head to the restaurant and summer bars with traditional food and more, where the menu is tailored to suit all tastes – there’s something for everyone from young to old.

A must-visit if you’re on holiday by the seaside is the HBH complex.

81. Lithuanian Maritime Museum (Klaipeda)

This place probably needs no introduction. And visiting this museum is probably a tradition in every family. It’s great that the museum is constantly renewing itself and introducing new education and projects, so feel free to plan a trip here, even if you visited last year.

82. Mindaugas Ivanauskas Zoo Homestead (Salantai)

This is a private zoo in the town of Salantai, Kretinga district, which has been in existence for more than thirty years. Here you will find many interesting animals, a very nicely landscaped environment, where you can have a great time with your family and children.

83. Vinetu village (Kretingale)

This is an exceptional place that is a must-visit for all nature lovers. It is an open-air museum of living Indian history, as well as a variety of educational and entertainment activities and hiking tours. And on top of all that, it is home to a wide variety of animals: poultry, sheep, goats and horses. Children can feed and pet them.

84. Alpacas farm “Ciobreliai rojus” (Klaipeda district)

Thyme Paradise is a small alpaca farm in the Klaipeda district. Important – the farm can only be visited by prior registration.

85. Klaipeda Zoo park (Klaipeda district)

The zoo has about 200 animals today. The collection consists of over 150 species, many of which are included in the Lithuanian and International Red Data Books. Since 2014, the zoo has been granted the status of a zoo. Klaipeda Zoo is proud to have some of the rarest white tigers in the Baltic States.
