The Gdańsk Zoo

Gdańsk Zoo is the place for you if you love nature and animals. This is the largest zoo in Poland, covering about 120 hectares.

Animals from all continents live in the zoo, including species that practically do not exist in nature. Some of the species you can meet are: elephants, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, seals, pumas, penguins, zebras, kangaroos, birds from different continents, goats, donkeys, roe deer, flamingos and many other animals that can only be admired here. The zoo attracts many predator lovers, lions are the biggest attraction in recent times.

In addition to beautiful walking areas where you can admire the beauty of nature, you can also go on a tour on the “Retro Train” or go horseback riding. A “Little Zoo” has been established for the smallest visitors; it is the only place in the entire zoo where children can feed and touch the animals.

The “monkey trough” is an additional attraction; it is a ropes course for small lovers of active recreation.

When visiting Gdańsk, stop by the Hewelianum Center too.
