Palanga Fairy Tale Park

Since the August of 2016, a park of Lithuanian fairy tales operates in Palanga. It is attracting visitors not only with a very cozy environment, playful sculptures, but also with unconventional solutions – fairy tales can not only be “touched” here, but also heard.

Each of them can be not only admired, but also “tested” – one can climb, turn individual parts of the sculptures or otherwise play with them. According to the curator of the artistic part of this project, A. Petkus, when creating the sculptures, great attention was paid not only to their attractiveness, but, most importantly, to their artistic expressions.

There is an information board near each sculpture. On the board, you can not only read the fairy tale, but also, by pressing a special button, hear it narrated by Inga Valinskienė’s voice. For now, stories of interest to children will be told only in Lithuanian and English, in the future the tales will be voiced in several other foreign languages.
