A must-visit amusement park in Lithuania
We love amusement parks, where you can find a variety of activities for children of different ages. As our children grow up, we are increasingly looking for climbing attractions, where we can test our courage by walking above the ground on paths through the trees. And if you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know that we love animal parks. And you know our love of trampolines. But did you know all these attractions can be found in one place in Lithuania? Raubonys Amusement Park is just such a place – where all our favourite attractions can be found in one place at a very good price! On weekdays, all attractions cost just €8.5, and on weekends and public holidays €10. So we can definitely say that Raubonys Amusement and Attraction Park is the one amusement park in Lithuania that is a must-visit for you and your children!
A must-visit amusement park in Lithuania – what kind of place is it?
Raubonys Park is an absolutely versatile amusement park with 3 different adventure worlds:
As you can easily guess, there are plenty of activities for both three-year-olds and teenagers in this amusement complex. And for parents, there are places to relax, get some shade from the sun and refresh. For us, this park is absolutely TOP, because it’s fun for Paulė, who is now 1.5 years old, and Motiejus, who is 6.5 years old, and even for us!
The park is designed for maximum family recreation. There is ample free parking. There is a café with hot meals. The food is really tasty and not very expensive. So you don’t have to worry about it.
Bring your children’s swimwear. There is a paddling pool where children swim. It’s really nice that there are picnic tables, benches and gazebos near the trampoline area for parents, so that they don’t have to wait for the children in the sun. It seems like a small thing – but very practical. We visited when it was +25 Celsius, so certainly having to wait with the baby for Motiejus would have been more misery than no shade. And there’s a new water area opening in July!
If you are with babies or children in pushchairs, be aware that the surface of the park is rubble and pebbles. If you have one, take two big wheels, not city ones. It can be difficult to get around with a small wheeled pram.
You can use wheelbarrows for storage or to take your children for a deposit. There is also a baby changing room.
Raubonys Park attractions and activities
Raubonys Amusement Park is ideal for children because there are so many attractions that you really need at least half a day to try them all. Here’s what you’ll find at Raubonys Amusement and Attractions Park:
- Electric cars – probably the biggest queue I’ve ever been in;
- Electric boats – a very fun activity, especially on a hot day;
- Playground for the little ones – perfect for younger children;
- Tattoos and face painting – another place where I had to stand a bit longer. And the big surprise was that tattoos and face painting are FREE!
- Laser wars for groups and families. Especially fun for older children!
- Huge inflatable trampoline area – kids might just lose track of time here, as there are so many different trampolines;
And that’s not all!
What more can you find at Raubonys Park?
- “Balloons” carousel, “Flying Chairs” carousel, “Bee” carousel, “Train” carousel, “Kangaroos” carousel, “Miami ride” carousel, “Caterpillar” carousel. This year there are two new rides for children! There’s probably not a child who doesn’t like carousels. Motiejus is no exception, so we have spent a lot of time here and have even been on it a few times! If your children are smaller and scared, you can use the carousel with them. I find it incredible that you don’t have to pay extra for the merry-go-rounds, because while in the city one swing costs €3-5, here a ticket costing €8.5/10 pays for itself in just three swings;
- The children’s Ferris wheel is a great fun activity for younger children!
- Extreme tyre slide down the hill. I don’t know about your children, but Motiejus loves this activity;
- Hand-powered boats. The perfect activity on a hot day! This boat pool is where children both swim and sail the boats;
- The Tarzan trail is also worthy of special compliments. It costs extra, but the tracks are very interesting!
- For us, the most fun is always visiting and feeding the animals – so Raubonys Park is the perfect place for that! There are free-ranging deer to pet and feed. There are lots of birds, sheep and guinea pigs! Don’t forget to buy food at the ticket office!
Prices
In our opinion, the prices in this park are extremely friendly, because you only pay for the entrance to a specific area, and all the additional attractions in the park are FREE of charge! Tickets are only required for children over 2 years old.
All-day entertainment in Raubonys Park + attractions costs only €8.5 on weekdays and €10 on weekends. Dinosaur Park + 9D cinema costs €5 on weekdays and €6.5 on weekends.
If you visit Raubonys Park, we highly recommend you also visit Birzai, which we consider to be one of the friendliest and most fun cities for children in Lithuania. For more information on what to do, where to go and what to see in Birzai, see the article Birzai with children.
