The Lithuanian educational performance “The Great Teleportation: The Chase on Mars” invites children to get to know the universe, space and celestial bodies around us better from October 2023. Kaunas residents were the first to see the interactive show for children created by Lithuanian authors – the premiere takes place on October 7 in the Girstutis Palace of Culture. Spectators from other Lithuanian cities will also be able to experience space. By the end of 2023, as many as 11 performances will be held in Vilnius, Klaipėda, Alytus, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Utena and Jonava.

Interactive performance “The Great Teleportation: Chase on Mars” is not only fun entertainment, but also an educational program. Together with the already familiar heroes – professor H2O, Roka and Roku – children will learn breathing exercises. These help regain emotional balance. They will also learn dance steps and a new song created for the play by Deivydas Zvonkus. The most important thing is that they will expand their knowledge about the celestial bodies and the mysterious universe around us”, says the team of creators of “Chasing Mars”, which invited the children of the country to their first performance “The Great Teleportation to the Game World” in 2022.

Educational interactive performance for children “The Great Teleportation: Chase on Mars” was created by director Mantas Verbiejus. He has directed such popular musicals and rock operas as “Paris Cathedral”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Lituanica”, documentaries and feature films and music videos.

The author of the music is composer, songwriter, music producer and performer Deivydas Zvonkus. His “Friends Song” is still sung by almost all children who have seen the play “The Great Teleportation to the Game World”.

Liuka Songailitė is the scenographer and costume designer of “Gaudynės Marse”, the main roles are played by theater and film actors Paulius Valaskevičius, Sima Tarvydaitė and Justas Vanagas.

A technologically innovative educational show for children, The Great Teleportation: Chase on Mars tells the story of the perpetually distracted Professor H2O. He sells ice cream by day and builds a teleportation mechanism by night. One day, the professor’s friends arrive at the theater, where they learn unexpected news. The performance will not take place, because its actor has been kidnapped by aliens who came from outer space in a flying saucer.

Rock, Rock and the children gathered in the auditorium decide to rescue the actors from the clutches of the space pirates. Professor H2O comes to their rescue, his teleportation mechanism transports everyone to a spaceship. The spaceship takes off on an adventurous rescue mission in the vastness of space.

The audience of “The Chase on Mars” will not be just passive observers. Both young and old will participate in the action of the performance. Everyone will receive luminous LED bracelets that give magical powers. These are flashes, with the help of which they will help the heroes of the performance to carry out various tasks. After the performance, the children will also receive gifts, and those who wish can take a photo with Professor H2O and his friends.
