Crispy heart pancakes are perfect as a convenient and tasty snack on trips, picnics or outings. It’s also a great idea for a weekend breakfast. Here’s a recipe for heart pancakes – tried and tested many times and always successful. Oskaras and Greta often ask for these pancakes for breakfast and love it when we make them on our way to the beach or even for an early breakfast at the airport.
The recipe was found on the internet, but for us the most important is that the crispy heart pancakes do not stick to the pan and that they always turn out well.
Ingredients:
- Butter 125 g.
- Eggs 3-4 pcs.
- Milk 300 ml.
- Flour 300 g.
- Sugar 4 tbsp.
- Baking powder 1 tsp.
Cooking process:
1. Melt the butter 125 g and leave to cool.
2. Whipped well (we use a mixer) 3-4 eggs with 4 tablespoons sugar.
3. Add 300 ml of milk, pour in the melted butter, mix all good.
4. Mix 300 g of flour with one teaspoon of baking powder.
5. Add the flour a little at a time and mix (we do this with a mixer).
6. Once everything has been added, mix well. Let it stand for at least 10 minutes.
7. Heat the pancake pan and cook. As the batter contains butter, we do not grease the pan with oil. The result is crispy pancakes like waffles. If not eaten immediately, they soften a little.
