This time we invite you to an evening show and dinner  in a real medieval castle in the south of Tenerife that exceeds all expectations. We have finally tried it and highly recommend it to you too! This is a TOP evening show with dinner with children – you really must go! And Greta and Oskaras assessment is very clear – “will we be able to go to other events here?”.

Medieval show and dinner in Tenerife

The medieval adventure starts at the Castle of San Miguel. In the south of Tenerife, San Miguel Castle offers an authentic medieval adventure within its magnificent walls. In the Royal Hall, or even what we would call the mini Amphitheatre, which can accommodate 1,100 guests, you can watch a unique island show with the whole family. And it’s definitely for the children that we highly recommend a visit.

Take a look around the castle before the show

When we arrived at the castle, we were already greeted by two knights on horseback at the castle entrance. The children were very impressed and realized that the show was definitely going to be a live performance with horses.

At the entrance, each guest receives a different coloured robe. Later on, this will have quite an important function and all the guests will be involved in the performance and become participants!

Immediately after the first impressions, you will be greeted by the owners of the castle – the King and Queen – as you look around the castle grounds. They will offer you to take a photo in the comfortable armchairs – make sure you don’t miss the opportunity. A souvenir photo costs just €10.

The show starts with a variety of performances – enjoy a theatrical performance by knights with horses, birds and even a fire show! The spectators are also included in the show. An emotional evening guaranteed!

Aesthetic, acting, and not lacking in the element of laughter. The knights interact directly with the audience, walk around, give the ladies flowers and ask for their support. The performances are also accompanied by handsome horses.

It is important to note that the show is in English and Spanish.

After the show, don’t rush home – you can have your photo taken with the horses and knights for free.

Dinner menu

Dinner is served during the show. The menu is not sumptuous, it is simple Canarian food, in keeping with the concept of a medieval feast. We had a cream soup of seasonal vegetables, the second course was roast chicken with roast potatoes and tomato, and the dessert the children liked best was an ice cream cake with chocolate syrup. For the second course, the children were served chicken nuggets with fries. Drinks are also available throughout the show and are included in the price: white or red wine, a drink for children and water (unlimited).

For those who wanted to enjoy a cold beer, beer buckets were available for purchase (offered several times during the show, with the option to pay by card).

The food is served in metal containers.

Vegetarian menu: a specially prepared vegetarian dish is available on request – please inform when purchasing your ticket.

IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO GET YOUR TICKETS in advance. It’s not just a show, it’s a dinner, so plan responsibly and well in advance.

The show takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Not only can you walk around the castle, there is a terrace courtyard and a bar where you can enjoy a drink. Just remember that the show is a dinner show – so you’ll get refreshments as well as water and wine with dinner throughout the show.
