Otherwise known as BIS, it was established in Tenerife in November 2017, so it is currently counting its sixth school season.

The school’s values ​​and teaching are based on positive education methods. We aim not only to improve children’s knowledge and abilities, but also develop children’s emotional well-being, social responsibility and health, and the general well-being of children is just as important as the academic knowledge of children.

The school is located in the town of Puerto Santiago, we accept children from 4 years old to 4th grade, for the older ones we can offer a distance learning program with live arts and sports activities at the school.

Classes at the school are held on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., from September to mid-June. You can join at any time of the year, but you need to reserve places in advance, as our priority is small classes and a lot of individual attention for each student.

Also, a Lithuanian school has been operating on Saturdays for four years, which gladly invites children aged 4-8 to join fun, creative and very Lithuanian activities.

Our children attended this Saturday school with joy, because not only did they learn the Lithuanian language, but they also met their friends. And where are the wonderful teachers. In addition, it is a great way to integrate into the Lithuanian community.

After school, children are welcome to learn ethnography, English, Spanish or join sports clubs.

FUN TO LEARN

Fun to learn is English and Spanish language lessons for children and Spanish language courses for adults. The immersion method is used in lessons for children, that is, knowledge of a foreign language is acquired in the same way as a native language.

The essence of the immersion method is complete immersion in a foreign language. During classes, from the first lesson, the teacher only uses a foreign language using associations. We sing, draw, play – this is how we get to know new words and concepts. From the very first lesson, everything takes place only in a foreign language. In this way, knowledge of a foreign language is acquired in the same way as native language.

Children learn their mother tongue naturally by observing the people around them. The immersion method replicates exactly that. Since children are naturally curious, receptive to associations and not afraid to make mistakes, this method is very effective in learning a new language and lays a strong foundation for the future.
